Omani Silver Spiked Bangle

Antique silver bangle decorated with pointed projections distributed across the entire surface. This type of bracelet was widely worn by Bedouin women in Oman. Between the external projections there are typically two or three small silver granulations, a characteristic feature of this type.

Bracelets of this kind were typically produced by silversmiths in Nizwa, an important centre of silver craftsmanship in Oman.
