Large Tunisian Jewish Berber earrings in solid silver

Anique solid silver earrings with refined filigree work, typical of the regions of Kef and Medenine.
The two pieces are almost identical in size and style, but they likely did not originate from the same pair: one features a raised decoration at the center of the lower part, while the other lacks it.

Pieces of similar type and workmanship are documented in Les Bijoux de Tunisie by Jacques Pérez (Collection Regard, Dunes Éditions, 2005, p. 49).
