Large and heavy bronze sculpture depicting Shiva as Nataraja, or the cosmic dancer—literally king of dancers (nata: dancers, raja: king).
The circular structure represents a halo (Prabha mandala), symbolizing the universe, with flames along the outer edge—metaphors for the ongoing cycle of destruction and creation.
At the bottom, a subdued demon symbolizes ignorance.
