Antique Indian Horseman sculpture

Antique Indian sculpture depicting a horseman on horseback.
The statue is made of solid bronze or of a traditional Indian copper-based alloy (panchaloha or ashtadhatu), with a dark brown patina developed over time.

The rider is shown with clearly defined facial features and long mustaches, while under his arm he carries a curved sword. The horse is adorned with small metal bells hanging from its neck.

Traces of dark red powder are still visible, probably pigments or remnants of ritual powders applied during ceremonies.
