Antique Omani gilded silver head jewels “Akam”

Antique Omani ornaments called “Akam”, traditionally worn from one side of the head to the other, passing beneath the chin.
This type of jewelry was widespread throughout northern Oman.
The piece is made of two decorated triangular ends, each with a hook to attach it to the head cloth.
These jewels are crafted in silver and adorned with beautiful antique gilding.
