Talismanic rings usually feature combinations of Arabic letters and numbers and are often referred to as “cryptic rings” because their meaning is difficult to interpret. These rings were frequently worn as symbols of alliance within tribal societies, including alliances established through marriage or betrothal.
The front section measures 24 × 23 mm (0.94 × 0.91 in), while the inner diameter measures 20 mm (0.79 in).
