The piece displays a beautiful aged patina and is dedicated to Virabhadra, the wrathful manifestation of Shiva embodying his destructive aspect. The figure, rendered with fine details, wields warrior weapons with its multiple arms and wears the Mundamālā, the characteristic garland of skulls emphasizing its fierce and terrifying nature. Small holes and cracks are visible on the face and lower part of the sculpture, due to the natural erosion of the ancient patina developed over the centuries.
